Prior to joining Backyard Environmental Solutions, Mr. Serig worked at Privet Fund Management, an Atlanta-based activist hedge fund, where he specialized in industrial and natural resource investments.  Mr. Serig served as a United States Naval Aviator, flying over 50 combat missions from the USS Abraham Lincoln and accumulating over 300 carrier-arrested landings in the F/A-18E Superhornet.  Mr. Serig is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with an MBA in Accounting and Finance.
